When you interact with BitForge, we adhere to a strict data-minimization principle:

No passwords or credentials
No email addresses or phone numbers
No real names or physical locations
No IP addresses or browser fingerprints
No Discord channel message content (we only process commands matching the prefix or slash format)

02. Data Storage & Security

Security is built into the storage layer

Authenticated Fernet AES-256 encryption protects all private keys at rest.

Encryption at Rest: All custodial private keys are encrypted using bank-grade AES-256 in CBC mode with HMAC SHA-256 authentication. Decryption occurs strictly in volatile memory during active transaction execution.
No Plaintext Key Exporting: BitForge never displays, transmits, or logs plaintext private keys in Discord channels, DMs, or public web interfaces.
Database Isolation: Data is persisted in a secured SQLite architecture utilizing Write-Ahead Logging (WAL) and strict filesystem-level access boundaries.
Ephemeral Privacy: Sensitive interaction outputs (such as private deposit address generation and balance inquiries) utilize Discord ephemeral messages visible exclusively to you.

03. Usage of Information

To generate wallets, track balances, and process actions

We never sell, rent, monetize, or share your data with advertisers.

Your data is used strictly for operational bot functionality:

Generate unique cryptographic deposit addresses for supported assets (USDT, SOL, ETH, BTC, LTC).
Maintain an accurate, real-time off-chain ledger of user balances.
Process instantaneous zero-gas social tips between Discord members.
Execute and broadcast on-chain withdrawals to destination addresses.
Display user profile statistics and audit history via /balance and /history.

No Data Selling: We do not monetize, rent, or distribute your personal data or transaction history to any third-party marketing companies or brokers.

04. Third-Party Integrations

Minimal data transmission to blockchain infrastructure

We only query external nodes to verify transactions and fetch market prices.

BitForge interfaces with the following external technical services:

Discord API: Delivers bot commands, user interactions, and message dispatching under the Discord Privacy Policy.
Blockchain RPC Nodes: Public nodes (Alchemy, Infura, Solana RPC, litecoinspace.org, btcscan.org) are queried to confirm incoming deposits and broadcast signed withdrawal transactions.
CoinGecko API: Read-only price oracle used to calculate estimated USD values without transmitting any user identifiers.

05. Age Policy & Child Privacy

Compliance with Discord Community Standards

Adheres to Discord's minimum platform age requirements.

BitForge complies with Discord’s Terms of Service and global data protection regulations. Users must satisfy Discord's minimum platform age requirements (at least 13 years old, or the legal minimum age required in your jurisdiction to use Discord).

We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal data from individuals under the minimum Discord age. If we learn that a user under the legal age has accessed the service, we will promptly delete their associated database records.

06. Your Rights

You can request deletion, export, or balance withdrawal

Right to access, right to be forgotten, and right to self-custody.

Balance Withdrawal: You may withdraw your entire cryptocurrency balance to an external wallet at any time prior to account deletion using /withdraw.
Data Access & Export: Inspect all stored ledger data, balances, and transaction history at any time using /balance and /history.
Data Deletion ("Right to be Forgotten"): You may request complete erasure of your Discord User ID, encrypted keys, and settings from our active database by contacting support. (Note: Historical blockchain transactions already broadcasted remain immutable on public ledgers.)

BitForge is an automated utility bot, not a bank

BitForge is a Discord utility and social tipping bot, not a licensed bank or financial depository. We are not liable for funds lost due to incorrect withdrawal addresses provided by users. Because blockchain transactions are irreversible, always double-check destination addresses before confirming withdrawals.
